--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note on ACC
You may not be aware that the ACC Minister, Nick Smith is reviewing ACC spending in relation to Chiropractics, Osteopathy and Acupuncture with the view to pull it from the ACC list of accepted practices labelling them as Complimentary and Alternative Medicines.
The Minister was quoted in the Press, in relation to the movement away from conventional healthcare, as saying : "The argument that people are voting with their feet is not enough for me to be satisfied".
Regardless of what your personal views on ACC are, Health Freedom NZ take the view that any movement away from accepting modalities not in mainstream medicine as a dangerous threat to your freedom and rights to healthcare choices. It is indeed a move away from accepting these modalities into mainstream.
We therefore ask for your help once again to rally together and send a barrage of letters from our members to the ACC Minister, Nick Smith and let him know your thoughts.
